Mayor, do you feel the holidays approaching? There’s snow in the air, and festive Snowmen are starting to pop up on the streets of your city! But what’s that? The houses of your people have started to freeze over! Mr. Claus is as puzzled as the citizens — he can’t leave the island due to these terrible weather conditions.
The Christmas event will be active from December 20 to January 3, and it’s available to all players level 10+.
Together with his trusty team, Mr. Claus is ready to help you unfreeze the houses and prepare for the celebration! If you have a proper Christmas on your island, then Mr. Claus might choose to stay here for good!
The more toys and ornaments your citizens put on the Christmas tree, the better and more festive it’ll look. Hold holiday parties, collect baubles, candy, bells, and bows, all of which will help you decorate the Christmas tree.
There are several stages of decorating the tree, and you’ll receive a reward for completing each of them. There are a total of 15 upgrade stages. If you improve the Christmas tree to the maximum level, Mr. Claus will stay in your city forever, settling in his own unique festive house.
Mayor, make Mr. Claus one of your citizens, and you’ll unlock access to his personal quests and rewards. Also, Mr. Claus gives 50% more gold than other islanders in all trade deals.
You’ve asked for it, and we’re delivering: in version 2.8 the friends feature goes live. Add friends and visit their islands! This is unlocked for all players level 6+. Hang out with your friends, visit them, and receive gifts!
Thanks to the Leaderboards, Mayors across the world can compete in managing their islands and tackling special events. For this, they’ll receive memorable rewards, and the best ones will win cool trophies which make for nice decorations.
