New "ANIMAL": Academy Keeper - can be found in the Market under the Animals tab. You are allowed to have 15 of these. She drops the Magic Catalyst. However, the drop rate is not 100% on your own island.
New item: Seer's Ball - can be crafted in the Workshop under the Nature tab. It drops Ancient Knowledge.
New items in Special Objects are on pages 468-473.
