LORD OF ARENA - BEGINNER GUIDE

Introduction
This game genre is appealing because players build and put together a team for battle, plan which strategy they will use to upgrade their team, and choose combat tactics that will be most effective against each new enemy. Lords of the Arena was designed almost purely along RTS (Real Time Strategy) canon, also drawing on elements of RPGs (Role Playing Games) and TBS (Turn-Based Strategy).
Heroes
Each player assembles a team of five heroes. The entire list of heroes can be seen in the Heroes tab. Each hero has four abilities (skills) that can be upgraded. The first skill in the list is the hero's ultimate ability, which is the only skill that you activate manually during battle. The other three are used automatically. Skill level can be increased by spending gold.
Hero Level
Hero level can't be higher than lord level (except during the tutorial at the beginning of the game). You can earn hero XP in the following ways:
1. Campaign. By completing campaign missions, you earn hero XP and other items.
2. XP Potion. This item can be found in the XP mine, earned by completing campaign missions, bought in the shop, or found during adventures.
Equipment
You can increase how many stars a hero has by collecting hero shards. This upgrade increases a hero's attributes, making them stronger in battle. By collecting the required number of hero shards, you can unlock a new hero or improve the one you already own. A list of attributes that increased will appear in the window.
Item Level
Rank
  • 1-10: Gray
  • 11-17: Green
  • 18-25: Green I
  • 26-34: Blue
  • 35-42: Blue I
  • 42-49: Blue II
  • 50-59: Purple
  • 60-69: Purple I
  • 70-80: Purple II
Hero Shards
Lords have armor sets as well. These increase your entire team's stats and can be equipped once you reach a certain level. During a battle, you can use a lord weapon, which applies a buff to your team or deals damage to your opponent's team. You can upgrade or assemble a weapon by spending shards, which can be obtained in the [Challenge] event or purchased at the Market.
Please note: When you get an additional hero that you already own, you will get their hero shards. The number of shards depends on the number of stars the hero starts with. This also applies during offers where you can purchase heroes.
How to get hero shards:
1. The Arena Store. Defeat enemies in the arena and earn [Valor Points] that you can spend on hero shards. You will also get this currency delivered to your mailbox as a daily league reward.
2. Arena Chests.
3. The Guild Store. Take part in guild events and earn [Union Points] that you can exchange for hero shards.
4. Chests in the city. You can purchase a Gold/Legendary/Astrology Chest and get shards or an additional hero.
5. The Market. You can spend gems to purchase hero shards here.

Which heroes you will get depends on your league, and your league depends on your rating in the arena. The higher your league, the more types of hero shards you will be able to get or purchase.
