AIRPORT CITY - APOGEE MISSION GUIDE

Let's explore the depths of space in Airport City! Build a spaceport, launch spaceships, and start conquering the final frontier with your friends!

Are you a master of the skies yet? If not, then go ahead, and learn what’s above the troposphere!
The easiest way to familiarise yourself with the space program is with the help of the characters from Airport City! Get assistance from Madlen by starting The Big News quest on level 10!
Visit Baikonur and Cape Canaveral to assemble the Astronaut Outfit, and then go to the North and South Observatories to prepare for Experiments in Space.
Start running wild on the treadmill in the Training Center, and don’t forget about field rations. Take a trip to the Astronaut Academy and solve the mysteries of the Alien Legacy.

Going on flights to outer space will bring you Skill Stars and chests with valuable rewards, as well as new buildings and the amazing Quantum Leap.

How can you find out more about the coming of the space era in Airport City?
All cosmic adventures start with The Big News quest, which becomes available when you reach level 10.
First of all, build the Mission Control Center and a Launch Pad; without these buildings, space launches will not be possible. The modern Cosmic Fuel Station will help you greatly in exploring outer space by producing Solid Fuel. All these buildings are available to you at level 10.

To initiate a launch, you’ll need to assemble the following collections: Astronaut Outfit, Experiments in Space, Zero Gravity Lunch, and Running Wild. To get the required items, send flights to Baikonur, Cape Canaveral, as well as to the South and North Observatories.

You can also get collection items by visiting your neighbors’ space buildings: the Alien Legacy, Training Center, Research Lab, Mission Control Center, Launch Pad, Cosmic Fuel Station, and some residential buildings.

When all the collections are assembled, you’ll be able to complete the Launch Preparation with the following items: Treadmill, Space Suit, Field Ration, and Lab Notebook.

Now you’re ready to launch the Apogee Mission all on your own or with friends.
You’ll need to get a total of 1,600 points with the following items:

Liquid Fuel — 2 points,

Solid Fuel — 12 points,
Small Fuel Tank — 6 points,
Large Fuel Tank — 40 points,
Additional Stabilizer — 12 points,
Main Stabilizer — 120 points,
Explosive Bolt — 24 points,
Powerful Explosive Bolt — 360 points.
You can always purchase the items you need in the Launch window by spending Coins and Airport Cash. Some of the items, such as the Main Stabilizer and Powerful Explosive Bolt, are available at a discount from
Duke Croocker, as well as from certain space chests: Launch Ready,
Space for Starters, Seasoned Astronaut, Space Hero, Space Conqueror,
and Master of the Universe.

Quantum Leap
You have exactly 24 hours to launch a spaceship. After the launch, the spaceship will be in outer space for another 24 hours, but you can use the Quantum Leap super bonus to decrease the timer by 90%.

So, you’ve taken part in a successful space launch. Once the
spaceship returns, find the Lander near your airport or on the territory
of one
of your neighbors who participated in the launch.

It will contain a chest
full of rewards.
Get ready for awesome prizes and items from the collection called
A Space Odyssey. Assemble it three times, and adorn your city with
a unique building — the Alien Legacy! This building will increase the passenger cap by 20, as well as produce one random collection item
for the Apogee Mission every single day.

Take first place in the space rating and get from a ‘Interstellar Set’ a
random flight map for three hours to one of the following cities, where
you can get items for certain collections:

Novosibirsk (Spacewalk),
Bangalore (Test Pilot),
Edmonton (Space Medicine),
Pert (Astrochemistry),
Berkeley (The Wonders of Physics).

The resulting items of these collections make up the Theory of Everything. When you assemble it, you’ll get even more amazing prizes like the
Quantum Leap bonus. Assemble it three times, and get the unique Abandoned Spaceport!

Become an Apogee Mission space launch expert!
Invite your friends and use the Quantum Leap together: this will help
you reduce flight times to mere seconds, and you’ll be able to send
dozens of spaceships every day. Duke Croocker will help you out!
Apart from giving you a 30% discount on the Quantum Leap
bonus, he’ll provide you with Main Stabilizers and Powerful Explosive
Bolts. You can also get a Space Exploration Set for 10 Airport Cash,
which will contain 5 items from collections needed to prepare space launches.
